We celebrated 10 years of Recess at the Colour Factory on 29th March 2026, this date being the inception of Recess.
I served as the production manager for the event, overseeing all elements of pre production including set rigging, lights and sound set-up, camera set-up, accreditation and people management. I coordinated with the venue and security on access points, floor plans, staffing, running time, event schedule and personnel.
Throughout the live event, I continued to manage the production, supervising the site and event, overseeing any tech queries from the team and DJ’s, managing the DJ schedule/ show running, and assisting hospitality and the other teams with green rooms, riders and solving any issues that arose during.
