I brought in the near year as the production manager for the Recess New Years Party.
Aside from the the musical experience, the lights were a very key component of creating the aura and vibe of the night. I oversaw the set up, alignment and programming of the lights, the centre stage set up, mounting of the branded iridescent sign and tech specifications. I coordinated with the security post-briefing to oversee the event, keep attendees safe and report any safety issues.
I also managed the show schedule, talent arrivals and cueing the talent for their sets, alongside assisting with set up and DJ’s transitioning between sets.
The focus of the night as always was “Enjoy Your Life!” And as always, that was achieved!
